      difficult to get fired--you can just coast to retirement working minimum hours at a relaxed pace

      too big to get things done quickly--too many people had to do their tiny portion of a task and someone had to move that task around to get it completed. difficult for someone incompetent to get fired

      Like any maturing company, it has become more and more top-heavy, placing more and more emphasis on project management and milestones, sometimes over bread-and-butter engineering. I could have half the PMs I have now and do a better job
