I was informed that my employment was being terminated with immediate effect via a phone call because I was unable to get into the office due to the tube strikes. The explanation provided was that the new CEO already had an Office Manager ready to step into the role, which made me wonder what purpose the recruitment process was intended to serve. My experience highlighted what appears to be a complete lack of structure, planning, and employee protections within the organisation. Decisions seem to be made with little regard for established processes, and there are no obvious protocols in place to safeguard staff from abrupt changes in management priorities. The company’s exceptionally high staff turnover now makes much more sense in hindsight. Anyone considering a position here should be aware that job security appears to depend less on performance and more on circumstances entirely outside of your control. It is difficult to invest in a role when the organisation itself seems unwilling to do the same. I would encourage prospective employees to ask detailed questions about staff retention, management structure, and employee protections before accepting a position. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the company as a place to build a stable career.
