Good 'stepping stone' place to work, for those with tech skills, in an market lacking many (if any) jobs for this skill set. It is a great thing to have on your resume and many employees have gone on to better jobs through the contacts they have made here.

Mismanaged - the company has both the drawbacks of being big and small. Big company in the way that employees are treated like a semi-disposable product and small in the way that gossip and immature behavior are rampant. There are literally ZERO chances for advancement, regardless what the company says. Most of the founding employees and management have left, taking their ideas with them, leaving the current set to go down with the ship.
