      A market leader that's not content to rest on its laurels, but is constantly innovating. Combines the fast moving, forward looking mentality of a startup with the huge R&D resources that 1.4 billion in revenue can buy. Compensation is competetive, if not spectacular. Company culture is highly technocratic -- very little bureaucratic/political BS. My current project was prototyped by the SVP. Lot's of room to advance on a purely technical track, high-level technical staff have grade levels equivalent to Director/VP. Open time off - no reasonable vacationrequest refused :) Diverse, modern development environment. In my first year I've done projects using Java, Python, C++, Node.JS.

      Somewhat sprawling product suite accumulated over many acquisitions, not always integrated in a seamless fashion. Steep learning curve in some areas.

Part of our successful growth has been through acquisition; this is a great opportunity and it does come with some great business opportunities (and some technical challenges too); we also get better with each step we take.       Interesting take on customer experience using AI. Good pay for the role.

      Favoritism amongst certain individuals and teams. I've heard that some sellers were removed from accounts just as they were going to close deals and therefore lost their commission. The messaging is that you can speak to any leader but that is not always the case.
