C level and SVP leadership in customer success are toxic personalities. They don't lead from the front, and don't guide their teams. They micromanage, without adding any valude. The SVP leadership is notorious across the department for being negative and motivating with fear...there is a "do this or else" culture that has been created. We have lost a lot of good people, some only last a few months, because they just couldn't take these leaders. There is also horrible politics all over the place, and the exec leaders from cross functional teams don't get along. When you have been here a while, and learn more, it becomes a depressing place to work. Most positions are filled with external hires, and very rarely promote from within. At best annual raises keep up with inflation, but most of the time not even that. I am just hanging on until my equity is vested and then I am out.
