I have been working at Carbon Re for the past 5 months, and I have completely flourished, both as an engineer and as a professional. The management team here want you to succeed, with a no judgement attitude and a forgiving culture. The platform engineering team is also an industry anomaly, with over 50% of the team being women. In terms of office culture, we are seriously well looked after. We have premium office equipment (standing desks, high quality IT). We are provided with a fully stocked fridge, snacks, and drinks. We also have Friday office drinks (with options for both drinkers and non-drinkers!) In general, Carbon Re is a fantastic place to work, and I am excited for what the future holds!
