There is little to no career growth in the company. The function does not operate as a true department, but is instead involved in micromanagement tasks, which makes the work environment less supportive and more restrictive.
Most of the managers and management are micromanage to the core. Hiring process for management is based on "knowing each other" while barely know how to do the job properly and the reason will always be "I used to be in upper management". Low salary despite you have to cover for another department's work. Management can simply request you to do another's department work despite it is not related to your designation at all.
