The businesses wont work as a collective but still have single stand alone mentality which affects the company as a whole. Promotes and over promotes people without ever giving training and support in new roles....regardless of what is said, those internally never get paid the market rate or nearly the same as those brought in from outside. There are cohorts and if you are in then you're made, if your face doesn't fit then your days will be numbered regardless of how good a job you are doing......in some businesses the fear of speaking out will make serious and powerful enemies who will get you out of the business.
