-Micromanagement It was extremely demotivating. It stifles the passion you might have towards sales because your manager is too busy micromanaging you -Unnecessary administration Some departments working close to our department felt that the work load could be slashed however it was too much -Poor commission structure It was abysmal. -Low conversion ratio No focus on the product and just churning out sales, this lead to a poor rebook rate and the product overall not hitting its target. -Heavily KPI focussed Constant checking KPI's, people would call the answer machine to try and boost call time otherwise you would be in for a telling off. -No career progression Only favourites got promoted or people who have been there for a long time -Poor basic salary For the industry standard and for the amount of work expected, the salary offered is too low. -No payrise High performers have been waiting 1+ years for a payrise and still nothing -Average is the best Don't be bad or good, be average. You will get intense pressure if you are either, probably more if you are a high performer. They want every single last drop of your soul, and it is not enough
