Not many. Clear and set out route to promotion if you listen to every word of theres. Also a good work life balance - expected to stay a bit late in the opening few months (an hour or so) but after that you will not be contacted till the following day. Good office location too. You can get your foot in the door - it is an easy role to get coming out of university.

Where to start... 1. There were many lies in the hiring process - I was told things that were simply incorrect to convince me of the job. 2. Day to day is so boring and repetitive. Cold calling on repeat with nothing else expected of you. 3. Terrible commission structure whereby you only get commission if your boss closes a deal which you found (and it is above a certain value) 4. Tiny territory - companies get called every day as there is no one else to call 5. Completely KPI focused. Have to hit daily targets for dials, call time, demos booked, proposals sent. These targets are often completely unachievable leading to people faking metrics to survive. 6. Firing culture. Don't hit their KPIs for a week? They'll threaten to sack you, and will sack you after a few weeks. There's a reason why the notice period is only a week for the first 6 months. This has been going on for as long as the company and they don't care to change it. 7. Sexist management - if you're a women you won't even get an interview it really is that simple. Completely illegal in every respect. Every single sales team is entirely male which creates a toxic environment to work in. It seems very much like an old boys club. 8. High levels of favouritism. Good leads will be handed straight to the favourites with little regard for anyone else. 9. Very poor base salary, especially for living in London. On a very good month you may get £200-500 in commission and it is not enough to live on in London. Ignore their OTE claims, they are not true. 10. Completely unflexible work hours. You will work their hours and have no choice. 11. No base salary increases. You sell more you make more money. 12. Few career prospects. You can realistically get promoted twice after which that is the furthest you can get without staying 20 years. 13. The company only cares about sales. If you are not a salesman then GlobalData don't care about you. Any attempt to change this is just ignored - they don't care. 14. No money is spent on things that don't bring GlobalData money. They only just put in free tea and coffee (however terrible the quality is). Even the things that do bring money they rarely do. Few sales tools to help you with the job. 15. Senior management are on a different level. The fact you need a special keycard to take you to their 8th floor layer shows all. Zero interaction with any of them from day one.
