Some of the people at the mid and lower levels are wonderful human beings, who work hard and were easy to communicate with and get along with. I had so many good conversations over the years. The remote working portion of the job meant I got to work from home, which was great. A few of the benefits were paid completely by the company which was nice.

Leadership was extremely inexperienced for most of my tenure, which lead to many questionable decisions and missed deadlines. The standard was to set a timeline for future product releases and target dates for specific milestones, and nearly every single one of them slipped by weeks, or even months because of the lack of communication between departments, or an overly aggressive initial timeline. Issues plagued manufacturing and designs, and the general lack of direction from upper management lead to nearly all of the upcoming products missing critical release deadlines. In a surprising move, upper management completely eliminated a mission critical department and moved it all overseas, leaving seasoned professionals stunned and jobless in the matter of an afternoon.
