You get a free membership while working there, however it doesn't kick-in until about 6 months into your employment. You get to meet a lot of interesting people, most of whom are there often. If you are into fitness, you also get the benefit of being in an environment that will help you become better.

Management was lazy and rarely managed anything. They just cared about getting commission on memberships rather than make the gym a better environment. Almost ALL the equipment was rarely cleaned, especially the tanning beds. The items they had us sell from the nutrition bar were WAY overpriced, including the water. At times when a member was behind on dues, instead of having a manager or assistant manager talk to the member, they had the front desk staff tell them to leave in a non-courteous manner.

Nothing. Do not even think its going to be good.

Everything. Company is using software from two decades ago. Their daily company meetings are pointless. The company is ran by juice heads who are only promoted because they been with the company for awhile, not because they excel and know how to train and develop people. They run through people like no tomorrow because the pay is under industry standard.
