management is cold an d heartless, I suffered the loss of a family member unexpectedly, she was my blood cousin, we grew up together in the same household so to me she was my little sister. however when I called to let my manager know I would be taking bereavement leave it was denied, because according to them she was not immediate family. I had vacation time and asked to take that and it was also denied because they had no coverage... I had to come in or get in trouble. I quit on the spot.
