My trip to Thailand with GoToCo was honestly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely welcomed and supported, and every single day brought something new, exciting, and meaningful. Thailand itself was absolutely beautiful, but what truly made the trip so special was the people, the culture, and everything I learned along the way. This experience pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best possible way. I gained so much confidence, independence, and perspective, and I came home feeling like a completely different person. Teaching and working with the children was incredibly rewarding, and seeing their smiles every day made the whole experience so worthwhile. I learned so much about Thai culture, community, and the importance of appreciating the little things in life. GoToCo organised everything so well and created such a supportive, welcoming environment. I met amazing people from all over the world who quickly became close friends, and the memories we made together are ones I’ll genuinely treasure forever. Whether it was exploring beautiful places, trying new foods, experiencing local traditions, or simply laughing together after long days, every moment felt special. This trip taught me so much — not just about travelling, but about myself. It gave me memories, friendships, and life lessons that I know I’ll carry with me forever. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I would recommend GoToCo to absolutely anyone thinking about volunteering abroad. Thailand will always hold such a special place in my heart, and I know I will never forget this experience.
