Terrible management, terrible environment, processes constantly changed, priorities were unorganized and impossible to follow. Workload was unbearable and completely overwhelming, haven been tasked with 120+ accounts without any management systems is place. Merchandising leadership is unapproachable, anyone who does speak up or go against the grain was put on a performance improvement plan. My most disheartening experience with this company was that they did not pay bonuses on time and I had to repeatedly ask for my checks on multiple payouts throughout my time here, no employee should ever have to ask for their paycheck.

I have loved my time at GOVX so far. I am surrounded by smart coworkers, and have had good technical challenges to work through that have grown me as a Software Engineer. The culture is great here, and people genuinely seem to love their jobs. It's awesome to work on a product that you believe in, and know is having a positive impact.

The health insurance is great for individual plans. But very expensive for family plans. Would love to see the plans become more affordable.

I enjoyed the actual job, my direct manager, and the team.

Policies are put in place to either encourage people to leave or to micro-manage them. If you make a single mistake, it is not used as a learning lesson, but instead, you are put on an immediate PIP. I've never been at a company that fires and manages like this before, and it is extremely worrisome. The turnover is absolutely insane, except for the top leadership, which should be a red flag. Although it became a great social aspect of the job, it was all done by employees with no help from leadership to help with the culture.
