      It's a franchise and the owners were amazing

      If you do not cut mens hair less than 15 minutes you lose hours. If you do not cut womens hair in less than 30 minutes you lose clientele. Over all if you want to get paid hourly and get tips for the price of the haircut Great Clips offers than you get what you work for. But if your time is worth more than what you offer than Great Clips is not for you. This was a great opportunity to learn how to do Clipper Cuts but you do not get trained to do clipper cuts.

      We are sorry that you had this experience. Our advised cutting times and cutting system is based on years of data that we have collected showing the optimal time it should take to complete a haircut. Each customer deserves a personal and quality experience. More time may be needed with some customers to be sure that happens. Clearly others take less time.       Great co-workers, good tips, generally busy, clientele overall friendly, management is super cool and will try to be as flexible as possible with your schedule.

      Working evenings and weekends, but that is salon life.
