I worked as an Operations Management and Industrial Engineering intern at the Fabrication Center (Seat and Carpet Shop). Gulfstream absolutely adores their interns and provides endless opportunities for interns to network with different departments during your internship. They also greatly encourage interns to return; most interns do receive a return offer after each summer and a full-time offer at the end of their internship. How fulfilling and challenging your individual internship is will depend on your manager, if you are proactive in working to your full potential, your manager will allow you to work on projects that cater to your interests. I was able to work on not only management projects, but team engineering projects.

When applying for internships, the description does not include which department you will work in, which is actually is a significant factor in your experience. You apply for the position, but you don't know what department it is in until your orientation.
