You get to play Sherlock Holmes when your customer's merchandise is missing. You get to play Accountant to make sure your paycheck isn't short. You get play on the internet when the store is dead. You get to play Psychologist or Marriage Counselor to your entitled customers, and then you realize you are playing the role of Slave when HDB decides to not pay you for the energy you put into helping the place stay in business as long as it has. After you leave you will become a well rounded individual capable of many things in the future.
