Management is aloof. HDR is big and has gobbled up so many small firms that corporate culture just doesn't get the reality of field-based research and work. HR is gossip central so watch out. OT rules are vindictive and probably illegal. Worked 70 hours in one week but 1 hour was billed to overhead? Enjoy your 40 hours of pay. Work 70 and bill none to overhead? Get 70 hours of pay!
