I worked in a subdivision that combined sales services for Direct TV/ AT&T/U-Verse which was a nightmare since they all had their own software for sales, billing, and service activation. During a call with a customer I would have to toggle between 5-10 different windows. There was a lot of pressure to bundle as much as possible even if the customer was not interested. As sales reps we only had 9 minutes to answer/fix billing inquires and up sale the customer as much as possible. Often 9 minutes is not enough time to thoroughly explain bill charges that may include a cellphone plan, satellite, internet, and landline.
