Great culture, open door policy, intelligent hardworking co-workers, family like atmosphere. Plenty of learning opportunities, some interesting projects, diverse clients, gadgets for geeks which pays half towards electronic gadgets, paid bench time, and they reimburse for certifications and conferences like CodeMash.

Svantaggi

Salary is average, bonuses a bit lack luster, perhaps not transparent enough like what are some new client engagements HMB is pursuing and what technologies are we focusing on, You may get stuck on a crappy project for a while but they do listen. Perhaps cliquish to some degree. Lack clear career growth / path. Benefits could be better but on par with other companies.

Thank you for taking the time to post these comments. We are proud of the “pros” you are acknowledging. It is a testimony to our people and who we are. Your “advice to management” is appreciated and insightful. In fact, several initiatives alive in 2016 are opening up new communication channels within the company, getting more feedback early and often. Major initiatives underway include improving our account management (checking in and assisting our teams), mentoring program improvements (career development and goals), better work-life balance for leadership personnel, and….drum-roll please……we have purchased an intranet replacement and will be rolling out our myHMB Employee Portal within a few months. Thank you again for your comments. We’ll keep working to make HMB a great place to be.
