There is a lot of lip service given about transparency in culture and taking care of each other. Unfortunately, it is no longer true. The recent layoffs of 100+ people due to “positions being eliminated” is hard to swallow, given the fact that these “eliminated” roles are now being replaced. The current situation is not uncommon for companies that have recently gone public. This makes it even more disappointing that the brilliant CEO and executive team refuse to acknowledge the true reasons for the company’s current financial situation —disappointing and shameful.
