Staff were fantastic and eager to serve the Greater Harris County comunity. There was a sense of serving the greater good, not just those with fantastic health care plans, but the people who really needed health care. Harris Health has a great many new clinics and services all over the greater Harris County within easy commute for most people.

The organization changed direction, in order to be more business astute, which lead to in many departments three to four times as many managers and Directors. This caused a many a delay in decisive implemtation or ability to adapt as each manager was attempting to blame each other or the staff instead of resolving the issues. Human Resources would invariable set employess up for failure, any reports made in private were openly discussed by HR to upper management verbatin, resulting in harsh revenge and punishment from Directors and VPs. This resulting in more and more apathy in the work force, and a general malaise. The amount of work, as with most organizations nowdays, increased dramatically, but with no support or understanding between managment and employees, resulting in threats and and stress levels that boarderline heart attack conditions.
