To be honest, even I would like to have higher salary. Who wouldn't? ;)
That said, we do splurge on team activities, company outings, gym, sports, etc to keep fun loving culture flowing. I personally wouldn't trade that for higher salary. There are some things money can't buy.
BTW, we do the performance evaluation cycle every 6 months. So, if you are doing awesome, you can move up faster.
