      They call you CEO of your own business. Nice concept.

      You are not CEO. Anything you do creative you get chastised. Company has culture of negative reinforcement. Have never been in organization where most people at my level were miserable. Having 2 bosses is set up for conflicts; the hospital liaison and AVP. Management would often meet with HL without including Program Director. Such distrust of Healogics management. You arent CEO at all, but a franchise operator and you'd better follow their roadmap to a T, or be whipped. Disgraceful treatment of employees. Only care Healogics has is to keep hospital HL happy. Sachet away Healogics

      Depending on your DO, as a Program Director you are the CEO of your facility. I did not experience any micromanaging as long as you performed to standards set.

      You do have to liaison with a Hospital Partner, and sometimes that can be challenging.

      Hosp-based clinics (can charge more), hospitals shoulder burden of buying equipment, if you’re lucky, there is some cool technology out there for wound mgmt. The company won’t buy it. They do training before you start at corp HQ.

      Greed=goal, so patient care is what is sacrificed. Pvt equity needs to get out of healthcare. Too many layers of management. They’ve begun winnowing their higher paid providers down and replacing with less skilled/trained. (This is a trend in the field now.) They seduce you with promises of bonuses that never materialize bc of deductions they take for servicing your acct.
