I feel the company prioritizes hiring people that fit the great company culture. *Great values not only emphasized by leadership but also supported through what is actually prioritized by company funds. These values include respect and care for the individual, work/life balance, excellence in our client offerings, improvement in healthcare, and integrity in our client relationships. *Great benefits offered *Health Catalyst is not perfect, but I do think it is about as good as it gets when working for a company.

*Health Catalyst goes through the same challenges as other growing companies that mature from start-up to public company, which is expected. One example is keeping up with hiring enough technical resources to keep up with client demand for a growing company.

You occupy such a critical client-facing role, often as the primary face of Health Catalyst to our clients. Your work is critical, and it is sincerely appreciated and it makes a difference. I agree with your constructive feedback and advice as well -- we need to do a good job of keeping up with demand from a hiring perspective, and we got a little behind earlier this year, which caused some extra load on existing team members. I apologize for this. I also appreciate the constant need for balance between short-term performance and long-term focus on client success and team member engagement. I appreciate our bonus structure encouraging us to never lose sight of both short-term and longer-term goals in that regard. I'm thrilled we can keep the same companywide bonus framework moving forward, including for this specific reason -- that it helps us keep this balanced point of view. It can be demanding, but seeing these systems run successfully and support real-world operations is consistently rewarding.

Wage Compression and Retention Risk: Compensation for tenured and high-performing staff has not kept pace with the market for specialized data engineering and support leadership. In practice, tenure can feel undervalued or even penalized. This creates risk around losing institutional knowledge and operational continuity. Stagnant Career Progression: Contrary to stated expectations, strong performance ratings do not consistently translate into meaningful, market-aligned compensation growth. The process of how compensation is benchmarked lacks clarity in practice, obscuring how compensation decisions are made and what is required to advance.
