You will compare everything else to Hermès and it will disappoint. Hermès has the best quality in leather. Not only is the price point amazingly high but the clientele you begin to work with is nothing like other brands. These are the top 1% clients that will almost always be loyal and come back to you for the birkin and Kelly. They really do take care of you in a sense of stocks, employee sales, good hourly, and they also flew us out for the NY family reunion for 3 days. I was also sent to Beverly Hills for silk training. It gets rather political with the approval of the birkin and Kelly bags. It is stressful because the demand is out there but you have to push to sell other categories in order to get an approval on a bag. You are also fighting product with your fellow colleagues. Your life is based around work because you will have to come in on days off for client appointments. They guilt trip you when you ask to take a personal or a sick day. It is unfortunate that it is stressful because the market for these handbags are highly desirable. They expect you to have a Birkin and Kelly mix ratio under 20%.
