Management is just a mess. No organization. No one cares about you, only the sales goals. Way too much pressure to try and meet goals that are unrealistic. You never have what you need to get the job done whether it be cars or office supplies or cleaning supplies; there is always a shortage that somehow takes almost gouging out eyes to get anything solved. Computer system is a joke at best with lots of freezing and constant downtime because of software issues. Even employee help service is outsourced. Unless you are manager or above you can't perform simple tasks that are required daily (even though you aren't manager there are things asked of you that requires you to be one)...kind of leads to a conundrum. Total understaffing to a point that is laughable. No desire to try and hire more people, simply shift an employee from store to store which in turn leaves another store short and unable to perform up to "Hertz" standards. Prepare to ruin dress clothes and shoes being outside washing cars and cleaning them in the snow (I went through 3 pairs in a year...buy them cheap). I thought cleaning cars in a shirt and tie in 95 degree weather was a joke at first....it's not, I assure you.

It is possible to make a difference if you are determined enough. Many engineers work hard and most try.

The company has a ton of tech debt that it recognized, but is not being addressed. Management controls the time, scope and so quality is falling. The people they have hired lack fundamentals understanding of software development practices. The company often will make decisions to save small amounts of money with their facilities and tools they give to employees without understanding the opportunity cost that was lost. Overtime is required. You can't work here if you want to have a family or keep your family from hating you. Title inflation is real. Many people are actually performing one level down from their stated title and those that are not are only not failing due to putting in crazy hours. Middle management wont stickup for their people to ensure they are not burning out. They see it happening multiple times in front of them and they do nothing.
