Can literally suck the life right out of you! - Recensione dipendente - Department Manager presso Hobby Lobby

Our store's air conditioning unit totally sucks! It is extremely warm in there, and we are still having to wear the vest or those AWFUL shirts!! Why can't someone come up with a Hobby Lobby t-shirt??? Seems simple enough. Not much chance for moving up within the store. Dept managers are given too many tasks to accomplish on a daily basis. Certain employees in my store are "privileged", in that they rarely have to ring on a register, don't have to close as often as others, and seem to do what they want! Although we are given vacation time, we are not allowed to use it Oct - Jan, nor can we put in for any personal paid time off during that time. Weekly scheduled are not posted until the Friday beforehand...doesn't leave you much of an opportunity to schedule doctor's appointments, etc. We may not have much of a life, but we do have one!
