Some lovely people but they won’t stay!

Wages- paid 10p above minimum wage. Hours- in order to make half decent wage you have to work constantly. No OT pay. Expectations- though you have set hours you are expected to work all hours. Also hated by CPs as the owner expectation is that you harass them until they agree to cover. Holiday- 20days plus bank holidays Benefits- tries to claim statutory sick pay as a benefit! Training- 1 week and then expected to know everything from slide shows. If you get things wrong you get fired. Running joke is always how long it has been since some left or got fired. If you get to a month you know the owner has itchy feet and someone is going soon. Constant staff turn over. If he does fire a member of the team then you are just expected to pick up their work. No support given.

Not good scheduling manager HR lied When they said $1 per mile when transporting clients, they did NOT reimburse at that rate Payroll/paystubs unclear to intentionally confuse caregivers CarePros who have been loyal to the company have been shat on with lower wages than new-hire employees. They allow clients to be racially biased and hateful towards their caregivers NO BENEFITS and things they advertise are not true! No real flexible schedule that they promote and promise in the job ads NO policy written for things that are unclear for example being on call phones are not provided and time is not paid for unless actively providing cares Management will tell lies to the families about why you don't want to be with a certain client every day of every week and will blame it on them being a difficult client when communicating to the family when in reality schedules and availability with classes does not align. Even with proper notice, the scheduling manager will have attitude and try to convince you that you are the one with the problem even though she does not care to take the time to fully understand each persons preferences or availabilities.
