      Steady job, great coworkers, decent salary.

      It depends on what school we are talking about. Some schools' administrators don't know how to manage unruly kids and their combative parents (=chaotic classrooms,) while others know how to control these individuals (= decent learning environment in the classroom.)

      At an EAS school, there is more autonomy. It is not so microamnaged. Free Pre-k for your kids. Available bonus pay through PFP model.

      Not much coaching happening at EAS schools (for a first year teacher that may be difficult). Not all elementary schools have Pre-k so your kid may not attend the school you work at. I am finding out my new salary on THE DAY I RETURN TO WORK. Crazy.
