The worst year of my life! - Recensione dipendente - English Teacher presso Houston ISD

Too many to list.... students are completely out of control. Random students walk into the class and refuse to leave, used condoms got thrown into my class by older students, objects thrown around, fights, students refuse to put cellphones away, constant talking back, unsupportive parents, uncaring administrators, etc. Huge amount of redundant and unnecessary paperwork that did nothing to help students learn better. I spent at least two hours every week on writing lesson plans to make sure they were up to the standard. I felt overworked and burned out. I ended up going to see a dr to get sleeping pills and anxiety medication. This job was not worth it!!!
