Vantaggi
Coworkers are super cool and great to work with.
Role is remote.
Svantaggi
Fake, cheesy culture and micromanagement with monotonous internal meetings. AE company meetings feel like a time waste with redundant material coverage and group activity work.
Managers will message you if you go 10-15 minutes without making a call. It feels like you're working in a demoralizing call center.
Tech stack and CRM are disconnected, outdated, and constantly glitch, preventing productivity and conversation tracking. Reporting is also archaic and not customizable.
You're working ~9 hour days with below average pay, and will be encouraged to work Saturdays and be a "weekend warrior!”
You are expected to make 600+ cold calls weekly and average 2 hours of talk time daily. If you have PTO planned, managers will ask that you raise your call and talk time volume to compensate for your time off.
The calls you're making are from a list of old leads that are either no longer in business, have a terrible past experience with Houzz (please do your research on Houzz - they have ripped off many businesses and provide subpar customer service), rarely show up for your meetings, or have zero budget and "owe money to the IRS." Outreach doesn't feel strategic. From those leads, you're expected to hold ~3 demos daily.
This is not a sustainable place for a career, and frankly a waste of your time.
