Huawei is the only major telecom network provider among the top five in the world (Ericsson, NSN, Alcatel-Lucent and ZTE being the other four) which is owned by its employees. So employee retention and career development is a priority.

One of the reason Huawei won majority of its contracts is competitive pricing. However, such prices put lot of pressure on delivery teams to maintain quality of delivery in the given project cost. This results in customer dissatisfaction and loss in delivery. This is especially evident in managed services contracts.
