Culture: The company culture contradicts the official values stated on paper. Instead, it's based on politics, favoritism, and a "clique" mentality that favors certain employees over others. Working long hours and weekends is expected but not communicated during the recruitment process. This should be addressed by clearly communicating expectations during the interview and onboarding process. The teams lack collaboration and encourage competitiveness rather than cooperation, creating a toxic work environment where many employees have already suffered from burnout. Many employees lack the qualifications necessary for their roles, which creates a shortage of expertise and competence. It is only aggravated by the fact that there is no mentoring by the managers and even less by work colleagues that instead are competitive. Leadership: The managers lack experience and direction, they only have the ambition of having a high salary but have no intention of helping the team of individuals under them grow and succeed. They often fail to take responsibility for their own mistakes, leading to a legacy of poor decision-making and finger-pointing. The C levels are not aligned when it comes to the future of the company, which reflects on every team and their day-to-day work. People team The onboarding process is misleading and poorly executed, with false promises of assistance and easy visa processing. New employees only receive 15 days of accommodation, which is not enough time to secure proper documentation and find long-term housing in Dubai. This puts a financial burden on new hires and adds stress to an already challenging transition. The people team lacks transparency and fails to provide a safe and supportive environment. Employees who seek help are met with retaliation instead of assistance, creating a culture of fear and mistrust. Based on my experience, I do not recommend working for Huspy. If you're considering relocating to Dubai for work, I encourage you to thoroughly research other companies with healthier cultures before making a decision. While Huspy may seem attractive during the recruitment process, the actual work environment does not meet expectations. The stress, lack of support, and burnout that many employees experience are not worth sacrificing your personal life and career aspirations. It's important to find a company where you can thrive and grow, and unfortunately, Huspy does not provide that kind of environment.
