They expect a lot of out of you with little in return, your pay or appreciation does not go up the more you do. You have to ask for a raise several times before even being acknowledged and then the raises are minimal. Little to no training. Most of the things you learn you learn them on the job. Hy-Vee pays its employees different amounts for the same position or similar work, but expects a lot in return. There is little to no training, and your pay and appreciation never increase, regardless of how hard you work. If you do get a raise, it will be minimal. I had to ask for a raise many times before I was even acknowledged. If you're looking for a job with a company that values its employees and compensates them fairly, then this might not be the job for you.
