      Great work/life balance, the CEO is a classy guy and easy to approach. The benefits are really good and most people who work at the company are really friendly and nice. The company tries to find new ways to make the employees happy to come into work.

      Software production process is kind of a joke. It is a patchwork of reaction to customer requests and customer rants mixed-in with some brief moments of genius. The senior management pays only lip service to quality and makes no serious effort to improve it. The pay is horrendous and mediocrity and working long hours is rewarded. ECM is a boring area.

      I am restricted on where I can hire new employees right now. There are a lot of competing priorities with similar deadlines which can be stressful, but the days go by fast.

      Constant quiet firing. They've figured out how to avoid public disclosures quite well. Every month they're whacking batches of 20~30 employees - esp. if you were in a higher pay band or part of an acquired company. There's constant leadership churn as of late - not that leadership was ever that great, but the clownshow has more makeup on the pigs now. If you were part of an acquired company, the stench of nepotism was constant. Hyland doesn't provide legitimate training or certification assistance for everyone. Their products would fail any sort of security scan by an AI tool too. If you're a customer, buyer beware.
