Witnessed inexperienced senior leadership get in over their heads, run out of money, and attempt to parlay poor prior project decisions into extremely risky future opportunities. In parallel, the same leaders lied to employees about the state of projects and the company, made employees carry tens of thousands in reimbursable expenses on their credit cards, and cut benefits without notice. Senior leaders would barricade themselves in a conference room and refuse to communicate, among other things, why pay check dates were missed. A truly toxic environment that I hope to never experience again.
