Health and well-being are top priorities. You should feel empowered to come forward to your manager to discuss your work-life balance needs—no matter the circumstance. Prepare for an impact conversation and discuss your personal needs to bring your fully charged self to work. Set expectations of when you are in the office and when you are out of the office. Clearly defining this with your manager and team can help set the expectation of when you’re working and when you are not.
