When ICON was PRA Health Sciences the culture was amazing. I loved my job, I loved the people that I worked with and I loved the managers who supported us.

Since ICON has taken over, ALL of that changed. The culture is terrible. The employees feel unappreciated (just a number), promises are made and broken, career growth and development ground to a halt, raises are abysmal. On town hall meetings we were constantly told that it is our fault that the company is failing and how they are outsourcing to India because they can get more qualified employees for way less money. And at the same time we were being told we need to do better, faster - like the C-suite and their shady business practices and outsourcing decisions have nothing to do with the state of the company,

HR is very hands off. It is very difficult to speak to anyone. Not simple to call and ask a question. Everything has to go through a portal. This is challenging when there is time sensitive needs. They make it work but in my opinion, this is a 'con'.
