Workload and progression - Recensione dipendente - Associate Project Manager presso ICON

I work within labs which is renown to be very busy / working overtime. If the team is very nice, the work is isolating - you work on your own 90% of the time with urgent requests all the time, not a lot of support and very repetitive work. High stress levels and not great pathway to promotion. I was told that my APM promotion had no pathway set in place for promotion. APM do a very, very similar role to PMs with a lower salary and overall low work satisfaction for APMs.
