Vantaggi
Hours great for most of the year except for the Spring. Associate Analysts are (mostly) driven and fun to work with. Management has tried to make projects more interesting (although projects are work on top of already existing work with no incentive on wanting to be on them) The work is very easy (depending on the team you are placed on).
Svantaggi
Senior management lacks maturity (e.g., the general manager is never in the office past 5pm, one senior consultant always waits until the last minute to do every deliverable) and is unable to keep top young talent at the firm. Attrition is always pretty high and has contributed to the low morale year round. This year, most of the associate analysts received pay-cuts and has contributed to the overall culture of cost cutting yet still asking AA's to work longer and promising more to clients. Overall, I would only accept the position if this is a last option. If you are stuck here, stay for 1-2 years and go to a higher tier strategic consulting firm.
