Image Metrics is run by the VC's and the CEO was always having to report to the board. Board drove business strategies with a lack of true understanding of opportunities in the field. Lots of turn over of staff and resistance to explore more cost effective ways to deliver end product as it was a "service" based product that required a large production team that could easily take advantage of overseas outsourcing.
