-Unreal level of unprofessionalism from leadership -No company culture whatsover -Clear racial divides -No transparency from leadership -No work life balance -No open forum for employees to raise concerns -Shady business practices As in any start up- you can expect ambiguity and growing pains. That being said. Impilo is genuinely one of the strangest places I have ever worked. CEO has a clear ego problem and constantly is pushing employees to a breaking point. No respect for work life balance and very little incentives for employees. Leadership constantly takes on projects with no plan on how to execute and then uses and abuses staff to make it happen. Hard work is rewarded in no way other than getting more work. There is no level of professionalism when giving feedback. CEO constantly is alluding people arent working hard enough. Good work is constantly unnoticed. Very little regard for work life balance. The CEO is constantly pushing people to work later hours, with no incentive and no transparency. Select members of the team also shared inappropriate racist comments with no repercussions. Overall- take this job if its your very last option.
