Leadership at the executive level operates with no accountability and no transparency. Decisions are made arbitrarily and communicated inconsistently, leaving everyone without the tools or authority needed to do their jobs effectively.
The HR function is virtually nonexistent. Legitimate workplace concerns raised through proper channels are ignored or met with retaliation rather than resolution. Employees who speak up are sidelined.
Performance expectations are unrealistic and inconsistently applied. Goals are set without clear documentation, timelines shift without notice, and staff are held accountable for outcomes they were never given the resources or authority to achieve.
The physical office environment is substandard. During my tenure the office experienced ongoing maintenance issues including pest problems, sanitation concerns, and unsafe conditions that persisted for months despite being formally reported.
Multiple experienced directors left during my time there. The pattern of executive leadership behavior that drove those departures was consistent and well known internally.
Religious and cultural insensitivity at the executive leadership level created an uncomfortable and at times hostile work environment for employees of various backgrounds.
