I had the privilege of working with Infinity Dental Web for over 6 years as their Technical Director. Throughout my time with IDW, my position was always open for expansion and revision. This was due to the vision of the company President, Dave Hall, who worked hard to keep his eyes open to talent, ability, and interest, and would provide opportunities for me to exercise autonomy in my responsibilities. Dave would often share suggestions with me based on what he was able to observe about my value proposition to the company which would lead to my tackling new and challenging projects. This would in turn add to my skill set while also expanding what we could offer as a company to our clients.
As a business owner myself, I can appreciate the challenges inherent in creating a company culture and providing the direction and constant innovation that is needed for a business to thrive. As I have worked to do this for my company, I have thought of Dave and some of the philosophies he adhered to and the practices he established. Dave was always seeking for new insights and ideas that he could leverage for the benefit of his staff, company, and clients. He had a library of books that he kept in his office and he would regularly report in staff meetings on what he was currently reading and how he thought we could apply a principle or idea he had read about to improve our company.
Working at Infinity Dental Web was challenging and rewarding. I'm grateful I had the privilege of working there.
