Your training will consist of working alongside another employee for a few days, but after that you are on your own. I have seen many procedures and safety guidelines violated because of this. In addition, I began training others as soon as 2 weeks after starting. No benefits - I worked 35-40 hours/week, but I was still classified as a part-time employee. Ingles does not offer insurance unless you are full-time, and the benefits they do offer are sub-par. Employees are often intoxicated for their shifts. These instances are never addressed or reprimanded. When a candidate is selected for a "random" drug test, they choose who they know is clean. Management is passive aggressive and quick to cut your hours if they are upset with you. Or adversely, they will schedule you 10+ days in a row.
