There is a real concern around gender equity that many of us experience on a daily basis and feel is not being addressed. From my perspective, there is a noticeable pattern where women who speak up or challenge ideas are more likely to be labeled negatively, while similar behavior from male colleagues is received more positively and often rewarded. This inconsistency is frustrating and feels fundamentally misaligned with the company’s stated values. Recent leadership decisions have reinforced this perception for many employees. In particular, since the new leader took over the complaints team, there has been a growing sense among staff that certain voices are prioritized over others. Who gets heard, who is given opportunities, and whose concerns are minimized does not always seem to align with performance or contribution, which has had a deeply negative impact on morale. This dynamic has created an environment that feels discouraging and inequitable for those trying to contribute thoughtfully and professionally. Employees who care about integrity, fairness, and the mission are struggling to see those principles reflected in day-to-day leadership behavior. If management truly values its culture and mission, these concerns need to be taken seriously. Equity should be demonstrated through consistent expectations, accountability for leadership behavior, and a workplace where all employees can contribute without fear of being penalized for speaking up. Without meaningful change, the company risks continuing to lose strong female leaders, which will ultimately harm both the teams and the organization as a whole.
