Decent pay and good benefits. There are some really good engineers and people in the organization who are underutilized. Integra makes really solid and interesting products

This was not a positive environment. In general, the vibe was that everyone was unhappy to be there, and I regretted joining the company after just a couple months. The R&D organization is broken down into 2 groups - colleagues who've been with the organization 10+ years, and others who've been there only a short time <3 years. There is a noticable lack of people in that middle range, turns out because all the new employees feel unwelcomed, undeveloped, and/or unappreciated. The old guard is generally in the twilight of their career and looking to cruise to retirement on the decent benefits and PTO that Integra offers. Unfortunately, the old guard is very political and certain leaders do not like to welcome in new people to the fold. Others are apathetic and just show up for the paycheck and leave. They are generally not invested in developing the younger/newer team members. Integra hires a lot of temp/ contract workers which makes it difficult to grow a sustainable workplace culture and makes project work frustrating because team members change often, when contracts run out. Unfortunately, was not offered an exit interview by (nonexistent) HR. Had a lot of feedback to give...

Integra was an excellent place to work, good benefits, and also knowledgeable and helpful management

Workplace culture was impacted by a lack of employee engagement and willingness to work with others as a team. Management sought to resolve this issue, but made only slight progress.

Leadership is in it for themselves. After coming off a rough fiscal year and layoffs, merit increases were minimal and the bonus pool was partially funded. High amount of turnover with high potential and talented employees, resulting in ongoing gaps and overloaded team members who remain. Despite the minimal funding for merit/bonus, senior leaders across all functions were still able to find additional money to award themselves discretionary bonuses of 25K+. While these leaders were receiving these additional cash payments, and after a big corporate restructuring, the work/life balance of employees completely falls by the wayside.
