Having worked in several different groups I've always found the general employee population to be bright, affable, and willing to help out when needed. Lastly, Intel is celebrating its 40th year anniversary by encouraging its employees to volunteer in the community -- the One Million Hours Volunteered in 2008 initiative truly shows Intel's good will in communities around the world.

Earning promotions to higher paying positions with greater responsibility may take longer than expected due to its long-established ranking & rating system. As a young leader in the company I've been frustrated by management's lack of attention to new employees who show exceptional ability to make an impact at the company.
